Divide the interview up into three main sections:


Introduction: Introduce yourself including your title, your company experience, and a bit about your background. Make the candidate feel comfortable with an understanding of who they are talking to.


Candidate’s Experience: Have the candidate walk through their background and follow up with specific questions to gain a better understanding of their skills and experience.


Candidate’s Questions: Allow time for the candidate to ask questions of you. Answer them as truthfully as possible. Remember, you are selling your company and, to the candidate, you are your company. If you don’t know the answer, offer to get back to them with an answer via email or phone call.
